What is it like to be a single parent?
It's hard, challenging. But at the end of the day, it's worth it.
Tell me about your struggles and/or sacrifices.
My struggles… I'm constantly juggling. I guess time management has been pretty key to me. I somehow manage it, but between all of their activities and things going on, we're constantly on the run, constantly on the go. From when I wake up at 4:35 AM til at night and they're already in bed, but I'm still making lunches for the next day. I’m getting everything ready just to go to bed at midnight, and then wake up and do it all over again.
Do you have any advice for parents in general?
Cherish every moment that you have with your kids because you'll blink and they’ll grow up fast.
What wishes or aspirations do you have for your child?
I want them to succeed and to take the right direction in life, to always be kind. I’m just trying to teach them good morals and to be strong, be yourself, and make the right decisions.
Describe being a single parent in one word.
